Who We Are
Our mission is to empower and inspire the next generation, especially those who are high risk and underprivileged, through the transformative experience of working with horses. Through this unique mentorship program, we aim to instill values of empathy, responsibility, and resilience in our youth, especially underprivileged and high risk, equipping them with the crucial skills needed to navigate the challenges of life.
About Me
Chris
German
Chris is a Dallas, TX native who graduated from McPherson College with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Marketing. After graduating, he started his journey of mentorship through a career in public service, as a Youth Independent Living Trainer at the Sedgwick County Department of Corrections. In 2017, he joined the police department and helped bridge the gap with the community. After a few years of patrolling the streets and connecting with neighborhood children, he served as a school resource officer at a local high school where he was able to continue mentoring youth throughout the halls of the school and those who got into trouble. Seeking new challenges, he joined the police department's mounted unit, where he discovered his deep connection with horses. Here, he learned how to ride, train and care for them. In 2021, he and his family relocated to Arizona. Shortly after, he was fortunate enough to be invited to the Knight Ranch, where he truly immersed himself in the ways of building and training horses and embraced the life of a cowboy. Now through Saddles2Suits 501c3 he's able to serve the community by combining two things he's passionate about.
Mentorship

Through working with horses, young people can learn:
Additionally, being around horses can have a calming and therapeutic effect, which can be particularly beneficial for youth who may be struggling with emotional or behavioral issues. Overall, mentoring through horses can be a rewarding and impactful way to support the growth and development of young people.
